Inclusive Learning Development Services was established in 1997 by Alyson
Malach, having recognised the need for organisations to be more proactive in
developing good equality and diversity practice.
Alyson has worked in a number
of management positions in further education colleges across the North
West. In total she has had 20 years experience of management. Her
experience of teaching, training and management was gained in 14-19 and post 16 education
sector.
Alyson is an established author has written a number of publications and
training resources on equality and diversity and in particular a good practice
guide on teaching and learning which was published in 2001
(Colour Blind).

- Home Office Prison education report on Initial pathways for Black and Asian prisoners
- Evaluation of the Lambeth Health Care Trusts Black Leadership Programmes
- Developing a diversity agenda for the Cabinet office
- Evaluation of Non-Schedule 2 pilot programmes
- The DfEE Adult and Community Learning Fund
- Managing stress in the workplace (African Caribbean employees)
- Increasing the numbers of black staff at all levels in FE
- Increasing participation and raising achievement of black and minority group adults in post-16 education
- Ensuring Equality in Further Education - a paper for DfEE
- A chapter for a publication from the University of Warwick (Falmer Press) Lifelong Learning: education across the lifespan.
- Good Practice guide entitled “An A to Z of educational practice for learners with issues of mental well being”.
- A range of resource materials on race and disability, articles and briefing sheets on equality for businesses and providers of education and training.

Alyson is the Equal Opportunities champion for LSC
