Information, advice and training
Our aim is to provide information, advice, guidance and high quality training and consultancy to employers, businesses (public and Private) and in particular, voluntary and community, Further Education, Higher Education and work based learning organisations.
We will support businesses and organisations to create and manage organisational change and to tackle social exclusion and inequalities in practices, procedures, policies, and actions. We can:
- help you to prepare for inspection and audit
- help you to develop a more systematic approach to equality and diversity
- provide information on current equality and diversity legislation and good practice.
- assist in conducting equality audits and assessments.
- engage with you in observations and self assessment activities
- evaluate positive action programmes/initiatives
- assist in creating opportunities for tackling inequality within the curriculum and supporting organisations to prepare for inspections and performance reviews.
- provide and develop staff and professional programmes, resource manuals and training materials, tailor-made for your organisation.
- support organisations to extend the workforce to reflect the population of local communities- focusing on recruitment and selection.
- deliver specific training on Race/Disability, equality and diversity
We deliver courses, seminars and conferences, as well as in-house training sessions. We can provide your organisation with a report and a toolkit to ensure effective approaches to equality and diversity. We will support your organisation through change and reorganisation to ensure that equality of opportunity is embedded in the process.
